A Historic Moment Through My Lens - While covering the RM Sotheby’s auction during the Las Vegas Formula One Grand Prix weekend, I had the opportunity to photograph something truly special. The Gordon Murray Automotive S1 LM became the most expensive new car ever sold at auction, marking a milestone moment in the automotive world. Being there in person, capturing the atmosphere and anticipation in the room, was an incredible experience.

A Car Built With Purpose and Passion - The S1 LM is more than a rare supercar. It represents the life work of Gordon Murray and a dedication to craftsmanship that feels almost artistic. Seeing it displayed before the auction, surrounded by collectors and enthusiasts from around the world, you could sense how important this moment was for everyone in the room.

Documenting More Than Metal and Machines - My goal when photographing events like this is to tell a story through images. It is not just about the car itself, but the energy, emotion, and sense of history being made right in front of us. Capturing that feeling is what inspires me as a photographer.

A Moment I Will Not Forget - Being trusted to document events like this reminds me why I love what I do. It is an honor to help others experience these moments through my work, and this one will stay with me for a long time.
